First Place Engines 1.3 Cubic Inch Gas Engine
New for 2003, the FPE 1.3 cubic inch engine brings
the convenience and lower operating costs of flying gasoline engines to
a larger variety of smaller aircraft.
Ruggedly built, the 1.3 features finely cast, billet aluminum and
bar steel stock with high quality piston/sleeves designed for powerful
operation every time. A Walbro carburetor and a Ridge electronic
ignition system combine for easy starts and smooth operation. Also
included at no extra charge is a linear throttle output arm set-up for
straight-line easy control rod installation, and a Pitts style muffler
that fits inside most cowl arrangements.
The
FPE 1.3 uses a smaller radial mount footprint than other engines of its
size, making it easy to install in many different model aircraft's
cowlings without serious modification. And size isn't the only thing
small about this engine. Check out the weight. It's a full pound lighter
than other popular gas engines on the market.
Add it
all up. High quality, easy operation, economical operation, small size
and light weight. The FPE 1.3 fits the bill for your next
project.
